In Memory of Lucero Ramirez: Final Expenses

Lucero "Lucy" Ramirez was one of the brightest lights many of us have ever known. Her laughter was contagious, her smile spread to everyone she met.  And that was how she communicated with others, through her smile and actions. She was a lifelong student of Habersham County Schools. It was there that she became a valued member of her class, her school, and community.  Lucy's favorite day of the year was when she shined as a Special Olympian. There is not a single person who met Lucy that will ever forget her. 

As her teachers, Team Lulu's founders, Paula Kimbrell and Shelley Umbehant and  Debra Paff, we were delighted and often tickled by her sense of humor. This child could laugh until she could not breathe.  Even with her struggles, it just made you love her all the more. Everyone that worked with her was blessed and learned what unconditional love looked like.

Lucy is survived by her parents Antonio and Maria Ramirez and her two sisters. Her family adored her and took the very best care any family ever could. She leaves behind a huge hole in the hearts of everyone that ever had the honor of caring for her.

We would like to take the opportunity to honor Lucy's memory by helping her family with her final expenses, from the missed work, travel and sadly, her burial expenses.  And in the event a monetary donation is not possible, please lift in prayer all of those left behind without our sweet Lulu.
