We are devastated by the sudden loss of an incredible mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, friend and all-around amazing human being. Lucy's world was her family, and the love for her three boys (Mino, Marco and Massimo) was the fuel to her daily fire. She sacrificed much and worked hard every single day to support those she loved most.
Lucy was the heart and soul of her family, and we will never forget her as her memory will live on forever through her children. As her best friend of 25 years and also a mother of three boys, I am heartbroken knowing the dedication and love she had for her children and what she had envisioned for their future. Her beloved husband Alessandro has now been thrust into not only living his life without his soulmate, he must now raise his three children without their mother.
For this reason, I have decided to create a “GoFundMe” page for the family, as they navigate the unimaginable, to help alleviate any financial pressures in the near future, for the cost of counselling and other professional resources that may be needed in order to cope with her loss and to assist with her three boy’s post-secondary education.
Lucy lived such an enormous life, and the void left from her absence will be felt by everyone she has touched. She was truly an incredibly special person whose life will be celebrated by everyone she has left behind. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.
