Lynn's Story
As many of you know, Lynn's battle with breast cancer started several years ago. The cancer was brutal and unforgiving. It also attacked her lungs and her brain. She fought long and hard, and finally lost her battle on Friday, March 24, 2017. Lynn was many things: precious sister to her brothers, the love of John's life, beloved friend to many, Kappa Delta sister and Sigma Alpha Epsilon little sister. Lynn always had a smile and that amazing laugh! She did so much to uplift others. We are all better people for having known her.
MOST importantly, Lynn was the mother of a wonderful young man, Ben. It was Lynn's main wish that Ben be able to attend college. He is currently 16 - about to be 17. Ben is a great student and is most deserving of a college education. He would like to attend medical school so that he can help others beat the disease that took his mother at such a young age.
How Can You Help?
It is our wish that all of you will help make Lynn's dream come true. What better way to honor her memory than to support her son?
This fund will be used to help pay for Ben's college expenses. Even if he receives a scholarship, there will be many other costs along the way. Medical school is not cheap! Lynn's brother, Ken, has agreed to be the custodian of these funds until they are needed. We hope to refresh this campaign every year on the anniversary of Lynn's passing, thereby raising at least $20,000.
