In Memory of Madan Thapa
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our fellow Cipla New York team member, Madan Thapa. Madan passed away yesterday, Monday, June 8, 2020, at his home.
Madan has been a valued member of our team since September 2019 when he rejoined the Company a Manufacturing Operator working first shift at Unit I. In fact, Madan most recently worked this past Saturday, June 6, 2020 and he celebrated his fortieth (40th) birthday on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
Please keep Madan’s family in your thoughts and prayers as this is a difficult time for all. The planning for his funeral service is currently underway. His brother-in-law, Sanil Sikhrakar, is also a member of our Manufacturing Operations Team at Unit I. Madan is survived by his wife, teenage daughter, and mother who reside in Nepal, and his sister who lives on Long Island.
The Company has setup a GoFundMe page in Madan’s memory and all donations will be provided to his family. During this difficult time, our Cipla New York Family continues to express our value of Caring for Life! Madan will be missed.
