In Memory of Mamad Norouzi

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Mamad Norouzi, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend has passed away after fighting relentlessly against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), an extremely debilitating and rapidly progressing disease. For those of you who had the chance to know Mamad, you know that his high energy, spirit and laughter filled any room and was never compromised regardless of any circumstance, which held true throughout his battle of almost four years against this unfortunate and currently untreatable disease. 

This Tuesday we plan to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers we will be raising money to benefit the ALS Association Arizona Chapter, who provided immense help and support to Mamad from his diagnosis with the disease up until his passing. The ALS Association Arizona Chapter's mission is to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig's Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. The ALS Association Arizona Chapter is dedicated to improving the quality-of-life for persons with ALS. They aim to provide movement to those who have lost the ability to walk; communication to those who have lost the ability to speak; support to those who have lost the ability to cope; and a voice and role in the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Making strides against ALS was something that Mamad was incredibly passionate about and any donation that can be made will make a great impact to help those currently diagnosed with ALS. Thank you for your support, care and contributions during this difficult time - it is greatly appreciated by his family and most importantly, by Mamad.
