In memory of Manbir Singh
Donation protected
On, December 13, at approximately 10pm, heaven gained two angels by the names of Karnveer Hundal, age 19, and Manbir Singh, age 18. The boys were involved in a tragic car accident that ended their lives. I am starting this GoFundMe for my nephew, Manbir Singh’s parents, Hardeep Kaur (mother) and Parminder Singh (father).
Manbir was a senior at Squalicum High School and was looking forward to his bright future ahead when he lost his life. He was a fun loving boy who loved with all his heart. His presence would light up any room he walked into and his smile made even the grumpiest person happy. Manbir was a person who was loyal, kind, and above all, an honest friend. He loved to work out, enjoyed playing video games such as call of duty and fortnite with his friends, and playing basketball. His loss has been a catastrophic devastation for his family, friends, teachers, and to all who knew him.
Manbir’s parents immigrated to the United States of America from Jalandhar, India, about 5 years ago, along with Manbir, in the hopes of being able to better their future and provide a better education for Manbir. The family had to leave behind their daughter, Navneet Kaur, due to her exceeding the age limit for the family visa classification. Manbir’s parents were both working hard to be able to provide for Manbir and to be able to send money for their daughter in India, but the shock of losing their son has been too much to bare. Both his mom and dad were working at temporary jobs to help make ends meet, but now have had to leave their jobs due to the emotional toll of losing their son. Once they have begun to process what has happened and have begun living the reality of life without their son, they do not have permanent jobs to turn to and will not have any form of income to allow them to maintain their daily life. They are currently in the process of trying to bring their daughter from India, so that she is able to attend her brother’s funeral and be a person of support for both the parents. Hardeep and Parminder are both needing help financially to be able to pay for the funeral costs of their son, their daily living expenses, and for the immigration paperwork and process that will hopefully allow their daughter Navneet to come to the USA. If you could find it in the bottom of your heart to donate, any and all donations will be appreciated.
This GoFundMe will go to the parents to help with the costs of anything that is related to and needed for Manbir’s funeral, for their rent, bills, daily living until they are mentally and emotionally stable to work again, and to help with the costs of the immigration process to bring their daughter here from India for the funeral.
