In Memory of Mansfield resident Tom Daley

We are all incredibly saddened by the sudden passing of Tom Daley on October 6th. Our hearts go out to his wife Stephanie (Linari) Daley, his son Zachery Daley, his brother Michael Daley, his sister Jennifer Daley, his mother Kathleen Daley and his extended family. Tom was the center of his family's world. We take some comfort in knowing that Tom is now with his daughter Abigail, letting her know how much she is loved.
As lifelong friends of the Daley family, we search for ways to help ease their pain during this unbelievably difficult time. While the family moves through the grieving process, we thought the best thing we could do is help continue Tom’s legacy of support, encouragement and love by setting up a GoFundMe campaign dedicated to securing the future of his son Zachery and brother Michael, who will continue to live with and be cared for by Stephanie.
Tom’s Legacy
Tom was a sensitive, emotional and loving person. He was a gentle giant with a big heart. He enjoyed watching and supporting all New England sports teams and loved playing golf. He was actively involved in Autism and special needs charities and organizations. He volunteered each year in the local/state Special Olympics in MA and RI, supporting both his son and brother. Some of his favorite pastimes were teaching his son Zachery how to play hockey, baseball, basketball and golf.
Tom was a dedicated physical education teacher for the past 25 years. He was committed to making a difference in each of his students’ lives. He supported and encouraged all learners to believe, persevere, and support one another. Tom’s unconditional love and support inspired and changed the lives of his students.
As you can see by the picture below, Zachery has inherited his father's big heart. This photo was taken after Tom's passing, as Zach was comforting his mother.
