Marc Robert Lafrenz
February 7, 1953 – October 19, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marc Robert Lafrenz on October 19, 2024, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Born on February 7, 1953, and raised in Lewiston, Idaho, Marc was a devoted husband, a cherished friend, and a kind soul who touched the lives of many. Known for his quiet strength and generosity, Marc shared his heart with those around him, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Marc worked tirelessly from the age of 16 to 66 in the pre-mix industry, with a career that spanned Lewiston Premix, Lake City Premix, and MJB Materials. His strong work ethic was just one reflection of his commitment to providing for those he loved.

Outside of work, Marc had a deep love for the outdoors, gardening, and BBQ. He found joy in spending time surrounded by nature, tending to his garden, and sharing good food with those closest to him. A lifelong fan of both the Washington State Cougars and the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Marc also had a passion for cars, especially his first-year production Miata and Mustangs.

Marc was married to his beloved wife, Pamela Joy Lafrenz, since 2008, and their bond was unshakable and filled with love. His devotion to her was evident in every part of his life.

Marc was predeceased by his brothers, Larry Lafrenz and Vern Ogden. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Joy Lafrenz, his sister, Patt Rinard, and his brother, Steve Lafrenz. Marc’s life was marked by love, integrity, and a commitment to his family and friends. Though he preferred to remain out of the spotlight, those who knew him will forever carry the memory of his presence in their hearts. His legacy of kindness, humility, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those who were blessed to be part of his life.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Marc will be laid to rest at Vineland Cemetery in Clarkston, Washington. A memorial service will be announced later.

As we honor his memory, we invite you to share your stories and memories of Marc. His spirit lives on through the connections he made with each of us.

We are raising funds to help cover Marc’s final expenses, including funeral costs. Your support during this difficult time is deeply appreciated.
