In Loving Memory of Marguerite Gamiz Renteria

November 1, 1983 – August 10, 2024

It is with heavy heart that we share the passing of Margaret Renteria. Born and raised in Bryan, Texas, Margaret was a beacon of joy and kindness to everyone who knew her. She tragically passed away after suffering a series of heart attacks, leaving us far too soon at the age of 40.

Margaret leaves behind her devoted common-law spouse of fifteen years, Esteban Gonzalez, and their four precious daughters: Susana age 22, Maria "Gigi" age 13, Alondra age 12 and Denise age 10. She was a dedicated and loving mother, whose presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Margaret is also survived by her parents, Mary and Manuel Renteria; her grandmother, Simona Gebara; her brother, Juan; her sisters, Leticia Rojas and Mida Barron; and numerous relatives who cherished her dearly. Margaret was a simple happy and loyal friend to have and will be missed.

Esteban has been by Margaret’s side throughout her time in the ICU, unable to work while also preparing their daughters for the upcoming school year. We are asking for any amount of donations to cover Marguerite’s medical expenses and funeral arrangements.
