It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Barrientos, who left us in the early morning of September 14th, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Maria’s strength and determination were inspiring, and her love for her daughter, Claudia, was boundless.

Maria will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her laughter, and her incredible storytelling. She had a remedy for every ailment and could whip up a meal that warmed the heart. Her devotion to the Virgen De Guadalupe and her fierce love for family will forever remain in our hearts.

To honor Maria’s memory and to support Claudia during this difficult time, we are raising funds to help ease the financial burden and provide for a proper burial. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.

Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maria Barrientos, quien nos dejó en la madrugada del 14 de septiembre de 2024, después de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer de páncreas. La fuerza y determinación de Maria fueron una inspiración, y su amor por su hija, Claudia, era infinito.

Maria será recordada por su espíritu vibrante, su risa y su increíble habilidad para contar historias. Tenía un remedio para cada mal y podía preparar una comida que calentaba el corazón. Su devoción a la Virgen de Guadalupe y su amor incondicional por la familia permanecerán en nuestros corazones para siempre.
