In Memory of Maria: Funeral Fundraiser

I am saddened to announce the tragic passing of Maria Dickens on March 27, 2025, with a heavy heart. On Thursday last week, Maria Dickens, 65, and her partner, Mark McKee, 62, were inside their home in East Germantown, Philadelphia, when it caught fire. Maria was a cherished mother who brought so much love and light into many lives. All who knew her will deeply miss her, especially her children, Christion, Breaa, and Calvin. As we all come to terms with Maria’s passing, her family faces the difficult task of arranging her final farewell.

I made this GoFundMe to help with the unfortunate financial burden of funeral expenses, which is overwhelming for the family during this already challenging time. I am reaching out to our friends and family for support in honoring Maria’s memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain on her family so that they can focus on grieving and remembering her fondly.
