In Memory of Maria Teresa Vazquez: Funeral Support
Donation protected
Hello to everyone who views this post.
My name is Jessica Santana, and I am the granddaughter to recently deceased Maria Teresa Vazquez. I just want to stress how difficult it is to create this post, as my family did not wish to ask for any help, but I cannot sit back and watch this tragedy leave my family with the financial burden of the funeral expenses as well, and I want to help in any way that I can, even if it means putting some pride aside.
My grandmother became ill in March with no explanation at all. She fell into cardiac arrest that caused an anoxic brain injury, due to lack of oxygen to her brain. She was no longer able to speak or move. For almost 6 months, we hoped that she would come back to us, but tests showed that the damage to her brain was too severe, and would not recover from this. On September 1st, she passed.
I want everyone to remember my grandmother as a very happy, energetic, loving, and kind-hearted woman, who would always put others before herself. She was always ready to put her dancing shoes on at any event, and always made sure everyone had something to eat. She will always be missed, and she will always be remembered.
I understand that these are hard times for all, but even if it's $1, $5, $10, if this post can get shared and viewed by as many as 100 people, that would really add up and help family a bunch. Thank you, and always tell your loved ones you love them, you never know when it'll be the last time. ❤️
