In Memory of Marilyn Moran: Honoring Her Wishes

On March 22, 2025, my sister, Marilyn Moran, passed away at 25 years old after a courageous battle with lupus. She was diagnosed in August 2024, and despite her unwavering strength and endless visits to doctors, her condition was never fully controlled. In late January 2025, a severe lupus flare-up led to multiple hospitalizations. Her body continued to fight relentless inflammation that eventually led to devastating complications.

Marilyn lived a life full of adventure, passion, and joy. She worked and studied in Costa Rica, Alaska, and Las Vegas, always chasing new experiences. She had a love for travel, often exploring the world with her fiancé, Dylan, and her best friends by her side. Music was her heart and soul—she was a natural-born singer and performer. From singing in the church choir to performing for Celine Dion and studying music, her voice touched everyone who heard it. She was always a comedian at heart, bringing laughter to every room, and a hard worker who gave her all in everything she did.

Our family is creating this GoFundMe to honor her memory and help cover the unexpected funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us give her the farewell she deserves and celebrate the vibrant life she lived.
