In Memory of Markella King

Hi, my name is Tracy Doran, and on behalf of our family, and in Memory of my Sister Markella, anything you can contribute to help defray Markella's Funeral Expenses, would be received with our unending Gratitude and Appreciation.

For those who have not heard, we lost Markella suddenly and unexpectedly this week. We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of your Thoughts and Prayers, but if there has been any recuring theme, all would agree that Markella was full of optimism, a pleasant smile, and she was a very unselfish and giving person. I'm so sorry, it's still difficult to find words as we navigate the weeks ahead, as we prepare Markella for her journey.

We are planning a gathering of friends and family in the Pleasantville NJ area, more info to follow. 

For now, we leave you with this Poem, "I'm Free". If you knew Markella, you will hear her voice echo in these verses.

"I’M FREE"

Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free,

I’m following the path God laid for me

I took his hand when I heard him call,

I turned my back and left it all

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play

Tasks left undone must stay that way,

I’ve found that peace at the close of day

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joy

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

Ah yes, these things I too will miss

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,

I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow

My life’s been full, I’ve savored much,

Good friends, good times, my loved one’s touch

If my time seemed all too brief,

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief

Lift up your heart, rejoice with me,

God wanted me now, He set me free.
