Loving fiancé to his beautiful Leah, and amazing dad to Nicolas, Everley, Addy and Josie.

Family and friends of Matt’s fiancé, Leah, have set up this Go Fund Me in hopes that we can raise some money to offset some of the expenses that will be coming up for Leah.

Leah and Matt are a perfect example of a healthy, happy relationship. Anyone who has been around them can sense their love and the way that Matt looked at Leah showed how much he cared for her. Leah is left with a lot of pieces to pick up after Matt sadly and suddenly passed away. She is unexpectedly a single mother to their two young daughters, and is left without her partner and other half. Just days ago they were a young, energetic, blended family of 4 children, who loved spending time with their families.

Please send all of your prayers and love to Leah and to Matt’s children. If you are in a position to donate, please know that your donation is contributing to making their lives a little bit easier during such a devastating time that they were not prepared for. Leah is a helper and is not one to ask for help herself but, her family has encouraged her to accept support for people who love her and Matt and want to be there for them.

”With every shattered piece of my heart and soul, I need to thank everyone for the outpour of love and support as we grieve the loss of our favourite guy, the best man and father, my life love and my best friend in the world. There are no words to describe how blessed and proud I am to know that the better half of me was such a beautiful person for so many others too. I need all of your help please, to make sure our kids always know how absolutely exceptional and wildly amazing their father was, to keep his memory alive forever and their hearts always full of his unconditional love. I thank everyone who has reached out, visited, spoiled us with anything that alleviates some of the responsibility we have during this tough time, I sincerely apologize if I have missed connecting with anyone who has shared their love and condolences with us, I appreciate your patience as I learn to navigate our new normal, although it will never be normal as we will always be emptier at the loss of the most incredible person I’ve ever known. The pleasure was all mine to love him, I was uniquely lucky, because I truly did build a best friendship with Matt, and then fall in life with all of the beautiful ways he complimented my life. I got to love and grow my beautiful family with my absolute favourite person on earth, and I will forever be grateful, even though I was robbed of far to much time, for the bond we shared, the babies we made, and the bonus beautiful humans that he trusted me enough to love as my own. The memories I’ll always cherish aren’t enough, but they are my everything ❤️ And to all of you, I am so so incredibly sorry for your loss too. You have our love and sympathies. Give heaven some hell my love, our lives will never be the same without you, and I can’t wait to meet you there someday. ”
