In memory of Matt Steed

Matt was a dedicated young psychologist who deeply cared about the work he was doing with our patients. He was passionate about treatment of PTSD, homelessness outreach, and alternate forms of psychotherapeutic techniques. Matt also had a wicked sense of humor, was kindhearted, and was always willing to help out a friend.

Matt's passing is a tremendous loss for our psychology department, Gateways Hospital, and for anyone who knew him. In memory of Matt’s life and passion for homeless outreach, we invite you to join us in honoring his memory by supporting a cause that was close to his heart. Matt had deep compassion for those experiencing homelessness, and we would like to continue that legacy of kindness and empathy through continued acts of kindness as well as a donation in his name to the Weingart Center for the Homeless.
