When Matthew Bellmont passed away on April 14, 2023, he left behind a family and friends who loved him very much.

The son of Mike Bellmont and Ryan Bellmont and big brother to Nathan and Jacob Bellmont, Matthew lived in Chaska/Carver and enjoyed fishing, cross country and hockey. He was born in 2003, and was a 2021 graduate of Chaska High School.

With family permission we're setting up this fund; donations will help with funeral expenses and memorialize this much-missed young man. His family will make donations in his memory to to-be-determined nonprofit organizations or research that help others overcome addiction.

There will be an open house Celebration of Life for Matthew on Sunday, April 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Chaska Event Center (3210 Chaska Boulevard, Chaska, MN 55318). All are welcome to help his family remember and celebrate Matthew's life.
