In Memory of Matthew Gard

We are mourning the tragic loss of my brother, Matthew Gard. Matt will always be loved by everyone who has been fortunate to call him brother, son, cousin, nephew, friend, grandson and most importantly, daddy. Matt cared about everyone whose lives he touched but the love for his daughter is what kept him motivated to do more and more each day.

The Gard and Diaz family are humbled by the outpouring of love and offers of help. We have set up this GoFundMe account solely for Lissette Gard’s future. All donations will go into a trust for Lissette that she will be able to access when she is ready to go to college. If you would like to contribute please do.

Because of the quarantine we are unable to hold a funeral service. We will hold a Celebration of Life for friends and family. We can not confirm the date until we know when we will be able to gather as a family. We will announce more details when they are available.
