On Saturday June 12th around 11 pm, Matthew was struck and killed by a car in Hanford, CA. Matthew struggled with mental health issues for several years and we believe he was unsure where he was at in that moment. Brent and Nancy want others to know that Matthew has struggled with mental health for several years now.

Matthew before the onset of his mental condition was a great baseball and football player in the Visalia/Tulare communities. Matthew had a very loving and kind heart and will be remembered for such. Matthew was very close to his family and loved his siblings unconditionally. Some of Matt’s other interests included skateboarding, boogie boarding, fishing, online gaming and more. Matthew was very large in stature and had a loving heart to match. Matthew has returned to our Heavenly Father and is with family and friends that he loves.
