In Memory of Max Hammontree

This quote from the Wizard of Oz resonates with us as we mourn the loss of an incredible teacher, colleague, friend, and member of our CI family. “A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others” is fitting for Max Hammontree. His wisdom, his humor, his dedication, his love for our district, our school, our team and our kids pales in comparison to how much love we all have for him. Our sadness today is far reaching. Our love goes to his wife Roxy, also a member of the BPS family, as well as to his mom, siblings and family. His presence will be missed every day by us all, and we will carry on in his honor because we are, like Mr. Hammontree, Spartan Strong. ❤️

Max's sudden passing is definitely difficult for Roxanne and their family.  Donations will go directly to Roxanne to help with final expenses along with previous medical and other expenses.
