In Memory of Melissa Alise Buffamonte: Memorial Support

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of our beloved Melissa Alise Buffamonte, who passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2024 in Mexico.

Although Melissa had been unwell, she was really fighting to live and praying to be healed. She had a great faith and trusted the Lord with all her heart. There are a lot of unknowns at this time, since she died while living in Mexico, but we are holding onto the fact that she is out of pain now and in the arms of Jesus.

While Melissa was living in Mexico, she was serving so many in her community and helping people in need. She frequently spent time at the orphanage and all the kids loved her. Despite her being sick, she never let it get in the way of serving others. One of her final written prayers was that God would heal her so she could continue to help people in need and to do what she felt called to do.

Melissa leaves behind three beautiful children - Angel 16, Elizabeth 11, and Zephaniah 7.

Melissa also leaves behind her Mother Lisa, Father Chuck, sister Shanna, brother Anthony, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles who all miss her dearly.

As the Buffamonte family navigates through this difficult time, they are faced with unexpected expenses to arrange the memorial service. In addition, we are needing to navigate how to get her close family members here to California. Specifically, Melissa’s father, brother, and son (if he is able to).

We are reaching out to friends and family for support to help the Buffamonte family by helping with expenses of airline tickets for Melissa’s dad Chuck and Melissa’s Brother Anthony, travel fees, and memorial cost.

Any amount of contribution will be an immense help and go directly to the Buffamonte family.

We also understand how difficult this may be amid other financial hardships that many people are facing right now. If you would like to keep the Buffamonte family in your prayers for comfort and healing as they grieve the loss of their loved one. Please pray hard for Melissa’s children.

We are hoping to raise funds to help alleviate some of these burdens for them during this difficult time.

Thank you for your love, support, and generosity while we navigate this tragic loss.

With gratitude,

The Diaz family
