In memory of Michael Shinkle

Michael Shinkle passed away 11/27/2020. 
Mike loved people beyond a human understanding, sacrificing much for the ones he loved and served. Mike was not only a loving husband and father, but was also a Pastor and director of Topeka Rescue Mission.  He had a Godly ability to talk with anyone, anywhere. He loved big and lived big.  If you’ve been blessed to have met Mike, you would of surely heard him bragging about one of his 9 children or one his son’s or daughter’s spouses or one of his many grandchildren. Mike lived his life with a purpose and passion to serve others. He lived well and ran his race the best way he knew how.....with love and passion for people to have a glimpse of the love of God on this earth. 
This is a heavy load for the Shinkle family. Not just physically or mentally but monetarily.  Mike worked hard so that his wife, Kim could stay home and raise and teach their children.  Unfortunately Covid doesn’t care how prepared or unprepared you are. We’re asking for you to give to a family that has been giving to others for years.  Your giving will help cover hospital and funeral costs and give time for Kim to grieve and figure out the next stage of life for her and her family.
