In Memory of Michelle Steele

We're putting together this fundraiser for the Steele family. The last 7 months have been full of loss and heartbreak. In June of 2023, Eugene Steele passed away. The family took a big financial hit. We came together and helped raise some money to help with hospital bills and funeral expenses. Now, 7 months later, they have lost his wife Michelle.

This family has faced a lot of heartache these last 20 years, but these last 7 months have been the hardest. Losing both parents/Grandparents in such a short amount of time is devastating.

Anything helps their son cover hospital bills, funeral expenses, and anything other bills that come up.

Anyone that knew Michelle knew that she loved hard. Her family was her everything, especially her husband, Eugene. She loved him until her last breath. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend. She loved to talk and would visit for as long as she could. Many around Humboldt were familiar with her friendly face. She just turned 55 on New Year's day. Even though she is no longer struggling with her health, she is gone too soon. We know is she back in the arms of her love, and is with her daughters that she lost 20 years ago.
