In Loving Memory of Mike Aldama
Donation protected
On Monday, February 8th, we unexpectedly lost our Man of the House: our father, Mike Aldama. He is survived by his wife, Connie, and his two children Michael and Marisa. With sudden loss comes sudden financial weight, so we are creating this GoFundMe to help with medical costs and funeral arrangements in hopes this will uplift some of the unforeseeable financial load for his family.
Mike was the ultimate friend and family man, always putting the needs of others before his and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether he had known you for 10 years or 10 minutes, his natural charismatic sense of humor always made you feel welcomed and included. He had a great circle of friends and an even greater circle of family. Every Christmas, he always looked forward to playing Santa at our family parties so he could entertain and see the kids' faces light up as he presented them with gifts.
Mike lived his life with love, joy and no regrets. He came from a long line of jokesters, so you could always find him waiting for an opportunity to crack his next joke. He loved to laugh and make others laugh, he was hardly ever serious.
Mike grew up playing sports in high school and continued to play in a traveling softball league as he got older. He lived for sports and wanted to pass on his knowledge by coaching soccer, baseball and softball for many years in the city of Santa Fe Springs. Whether you were a beginner or an advanced athlete, he took you under his wing and pushed you to become the best athlete you could be. The teams and parents of the players were his second family, always making time for pool parties and barbecues. Mike knew that once all of the hard work was done, there was always time for food and dessert after a game,
I could go on all day telling stories, but my family and I wanted to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Throughout our moments of sadness, your kind words and memories lift us up. His legacy will forever live on as long as there is still love and laughter in this world.
We thank you in advance for your generosity.
With Love,
The Aldama Family
