In Memory of Mike Gifford

Mike Gifford passed away unexpectedly on October 20th at the age of 48, leaving his wife Heather and three children, Rylan, Caiden, and Aliana. Mike was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, friend, coach, entreprenuer, community leader, and athlete.

Mike was a connector, a fixer, and always present. He was the relational glue that kept so many people connected to each other. Mike was the person you went to if you had a question or needed help with something. If he didn't have the answer, he knew who did. Mike was present whenever he interacted with you. He was always good for a joke. He loved to decorate the yard for Halloween and Chrismas with an eye towards the tackier the better. Mike was as loyal as they come.

Mike loved his kids and was always happy to share about the things they were accomplishing. Rylan is a sophomore at Virginia Tech, Caiden is a senior in high school, and Aliana is in her final year of middle school. Mike worked hard to ensure his family had what they needed to be successful in life, and you are invited to join in that mission. Your gift will go directly to my best friends wife, Heather Gifford. Heather will establish a college savings account for each of their three kids.
