In Memory of Mike Horan: Support His Loved Ones
Donation protected
Hi. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Horan (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on August 7, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Mike loved people and never met a stranger. He would give you the shirt off his back. He had such a great sense of humor, compassion, and most of all he was a fixer. He always wanted everyone to be good and looked after. I mean, what do you expect from a middle child? I'm sure any of his friends would say he always took the time to make sure they were good in their lives. He was their champion and would do anything to lend an ear, advice, a helping hand, or a shoulder to cry on.
To say he will be missed is an understatement by those lucky enough to have known him. He is gone but not forgotten. His legacy will live on through his work, family, and children. They had a saying at Roadworks- do heads turn when you drive by? Next time a semi truck passes you, take a look at all the shiny chrome, and know Mike probably had a hand in that.
Mike leaves behind his wife Claudia Herrera Horan; his children, Emily Horan and Liam Horan as well as many others. This gofundme page is created as a way to help his family with the monumental medical expenses incurred over the past 2 years and the unforeseen costs that will undoubtedly come up.
Please keep and continue to keep Mike and his family in your prayers and if you are able to donate any amount, ALL funds (minus whatever fees for this) will go directly to Claudia and the kids to help HOWEVER they need. Mike always tried to look after his friends and family. Now, that he is no longer present (physically), I'm sure he'd be honored, if you are able to help support his family during this difficult time. And prayers are ALWAYS welcome. Thank you!
Rest in Peace!
We LOVE you Mike J Horan
