In Memory of Mike Irrera, loving father to Siena

Family, Friends, Colleagues and Neighbors,

Please join me in celebrating the life and legacy of Mike Irrera, who passed away in a tragic car accident on Monday, September 12, 2022, at the young age of 50 in Upstate NY.

To honor his accomplished life, please consider paying tribute to Mike's legacy with a donation to support and enrich the developing life of his beloved daughter, Siena Irrera. Siena is a vibrant and witty 15-year-old sophomore at Duxbury High School in Duxbury, MA. She is a hard-working, engaging student and athlete. Mike deeply valued the pursuit of learning. He instilled this principle by modeling an inquisitive curiosity for learning about the world around him. From travel, to science and technology, nature, sports, and his love for music, he never stopped learning and sharing his knowledge with all of us, and most importantly, his daughter.

Your donation would support Siena’s academic enrichment during her remaining years of high school, summer explorations, and college. Much like her father, she is a loyal and dedicated child; a loving granddaughter and friend to many. Siena understands the importance of giving back to her community and volunteered for the Town of Duxbury and regularly donates her time to the Skating Club of Boston Junior Activity Committee (JAC). Mike was always there to help a friend in need, solve a problem, or take action to lead an effort within his community. Most notably in Keene, NY where he helped with Hurricane Irene efforts when the Town of Keene was crippled by the floods in 2011.

Living life with love, enthusiasm, respect, and learning through adventuring, cooking and being with others, were pillars of Mike’s influence and the lasting imprints he left on anyone who was fortunate to know him. We will forever miss and be indebted to Mike and the talents he shared with us. We find hope and renewal in the strong young woman Siena is becoming. We are grateful for this legacy and are honored to be a part of Siena’s life journey.
