In Memory of Mimi, Jun, and Arabelle

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved family members. We have set up this memorial site to raise funds for the beloved grandchildren.

Please join us in remembering our loved ones in the fullness of their humanity:

Merceditas “Mimi” de Leon was a wonderful and beloved mother, sister, friend, and daughter, and was the pillar of a strong extended family that she built around two amazing children, Ravel and Chloe. Born in 1974 in Kansas City, Missouri, Mimi grew up in the Bay Area and spent her adult years in Los Angeles, California. She was beloved for her deep intelligence, sharp sense of humor, and an amazing ability to care for others with strength and compassion, whether they were her children, her friends or her parents. Lovingly known to some as "Bunny", her relationships with family and friends spanned decades and thousands of miles and were kept vibrant with dinners, phone calls, text messages, and laughter.

Rodrigo “Jun” de Leon Jr. was a dedicated father, loving cousin, and beloved son was a source of joy for all who knew him, an avid biker, and lover of pop culture. Born in 1970 in Kansas City, Kansas, Jun grew up in the Bay Area and spent most of his adult years in Los Angeles, California. In 2002, Jun married Glenda Camahalan and their daughter, Arabella Rae “Bea” was born. Fiercely loyal to his extended family, “Uncle Jun”, also lovingly known as "Sweetie", was a favorite of his cousins, nephews, and nieces because of his keen sense of humor, deep empathy, and endless generosity. Jun always made time to play with children, to help out his elders, or to trade jokes and fashion advice with friends and family at any hour of the day or night.

Arabella de Leon was a proud mother of three, a loving grandmother, a beloved sister and cousin, was the matriarch of an amazing family, and a General Manager at Roland Group Enterprise for over 30 years. Born in 1943 in Cebu City, Philippines, Belle moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she earned a degree in Dietary Nutrition. In 1978, she moved to Fremont, California where she raised her children (and many dogs) and began a career as a real estate agent. In the early 90's, she became a “Lola”, moved to Granada Hills, California, built a beautiful home and continued to advance her real estate career. Belle was a loyal Kansas City Chiefs and SF 49ers fan who always had impeccably manicured nails and make-up. Belle had a sharp wit and fierce strength, especially when supporting those she loved. Lovingly known as "Matai" and "Bobo", she was always a pillar of support for her family, whether it was her sisters across the USA or her brother, in-laws, and cousins in the Philippines.

We will deeply miss Mimi, Jun, and Arabella. We honor their lives and will cherish all the memories our family have had together.
