In Memory of Miyoko Uozato Stafford
Donation protected
Miyoko Uozato Stafford was a devoted wife to Douglas and loving mother to two sons, Kenji (20) and Kaito (19). She was truly a beautiful person, both inside and out. On the afternoon of Tuesday, March 5th, 2019, Miyoko succumbed to her battle with depression and ended her life.
Miyoko' family and friends will miss her immensely. Everyone who knew Miyoko knew that she was the type of person who was always there when people needed help, even when no one asked her. Whether it was a little thing, like fixing a hole in our old clothes or volunteering at an elementary school, she was there to give support and assistance. To lose her so soon is devastating, but her sweet spirit, love, and compassion will always remain with those who loved her.
This fund has been created to directly fund the cost of cremation, memorial services...etc.
Miyoko's husband and sons hope that their story sheds light on the impact of suicide and mental health. If you or someone you know ever feels like there's no hope, please talk to someone and get help.
