In Memory of Mohamed Magdi Taha

May Peace and Blessings be Upon You. Assalamualaikum.

On behalf of the MIT Muslim Students Association, I am raising funds for the family of our dearly departed friend and brother, Mohamed Magdi Taha.

Mohamed Magdi Taha was a loved friend, brother, son, student, and so much more. He used life as his canvas and painted beautifully with his words. His love of poetry shone through at every stage. He penned numerous moving works, which his friends and family have collected.

Mohamed passed tragically at the young age of 21 and is survived by his parents, three sisters, and four nephews. He loved his family fiercely and was radiant in his joy with them.

He loved his friends equally and never missed a chance to share laughter with them, comfort them, and advocate for them. The love he shared with everyone he knew still carries forward into the world today, with so many people committed to doing good in his name. That spirit and legacy embody exactly who Mohamed was.

He was fearless in so many ways and set an example for how to lead with passion and genuine care. He is deeply missed by those that knew him closely.

All funds contributed to this platform will go directly to the family members of Mohamed Magdi Taha.
