"3 is for I Love You" -My Mom

My name is Isabelle Meneses, and I am 18 years old. On July 2nd, 2024, my mother, Ellen Meneses, passed away. Her battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer was a valiant one; she was strong, or matapang as we say in Tagalog. Everyone I meet these days compliments me on my resilience, but it is my mother who taught me everything about that sentiment. The sentiment of resilience is one I carry with me everyday, and will need to carry a thousand times more from here on out.

My mother always said she was a superwoman. She always had a million things on her mind to do. This is a lifestyle that my family, and I especially, have inherited. It may sound corny, but she is my fallen hero, who taught all of my family now to strive to be the same.

All proceeds to this GoFundMe will go towards managing some of those million difficult tasks. This includes funds needed towards FUNERAL & MEMORIAL SERVICES, which have been paid in part, as well as her BURIAL, which has not been paid yet. If by any chance our goal is exceeded, the excess will be used as financial assistance for what is left for us, e.g. for the house she loved so dearly.
