In memory of Nathan Losaru
The whole Nomad family is devastated by the loss of Nathan Losaru, one of our longest serving Northern guides who recently passed away. On behalf of his fellow guides and many friends within Nomad, we have set up this GoFundMe page to raise funds for his wife Rose and their four children.
Nathan was a much-loved member of the Nomad family and a well-known character on the safari scene; his loss will be deeply felt by many. He truly was one of the Nomad originals, and it seems impossible that it was over 20 years ago that he started as a young cook working in the simplest of kitchens in our first mobile camp.
His sunny disposition, care for others and sheer determination saw him climb through the ranks to become one of our most experienced and popular guides, developing his own loyal following of admirers around the world.
Educating his children to the highest possible standard was of enormous importance to Nathan, and it's something he would definitely have wanted continued. If anyone would like to discuss funding for this specifically, do get in touch.
Our thoughts are with Rose and the children, to whom he was so devoted and of whom he was so very proud. They will always be considered part of the Nomad family, among which Nathan himself was such an inspiration.
