In memory of Nicholas Ramirez

By this time, I am sure that most of you know the devastating news of the sudden passing of our dear Nicky on September 14th. My beautiful darling son died from injuries sustained while doing what he loved most, being one with his motorcycle. I always knew that he was special; he touched many lives. However, I just found out the actual magnitude. My family and I have been blessed with receiving messages of love and support not only from people in the US but worldwide. I want to extend a great big thank you as this outpour of love and prayers is what has kept me upright.

Nicholas was such a bright light to me and so many. He was the funniest, over-the-top, genuine, most caring and fun person I know. No matter your interest, he was there to cheer for you. Nick shared his love unconditionally and for this I will be forever his proud Mama. Throughout the years, I would talk to my boy and tell him to slow down and smell the roses. He would always reply " I actually am, we have to live our life to the fullest," and so he did; in his 32 years, he lived more than most of us will do. I am just sorry that it came to this to realize that he was actually right.

Rest in peace, my sweet Angel. Asking God to give me the strength to continue life without you.
