Memorial bench for Olly Benson-Coakes

Hi, I’m Ollys ex wife and mother of our boys, Finlay and Ethan.

Olly sadly suddenly died in January 2022 aged 37

We did not have a funeral, as was his wish, and would love to have a memorial bench placed between where he lived in Hyde and we live in Abbott’s Barton. I’ve been in touch with the council and am meeting someone soon to decide where it will be.

Unfortunately I cannot cover the full costs of it (£1900) so am please asking for donations from anyone who feels they are able to.

This would mean so much to my boys to have somewhere to go and have quiet time thinking of daddy.

Anyone who knew Olly would know he was passionate about plants and the outdoors. It seems like the perfect thing to honor his memory.

Any amount, no matter how small, would be so much appreciated to help make this happen.

I’ve never done anything like this before so hope it all makes sense!
