JUSTICE FOR AUGUST BELL!

UPDATE:  AUGUST WAS MURDERED!!

On October 11, 2020 we got the most devastating news any family can get!  The police showed up at our door to tell me and my Mom that my BRILLIANT, gorgeous, kind, giving and only sister, August, had passed away.
She was 27 years old! It has been the most painful and awful 3 months for me, but it has been impossible and excruciating for my mom.  My mom spent the previous 7 years doing everything and anything to help and save my sister, and she feels like she failed.  But, even worse, we have no answers as to how August died.  We found out later that day that August had been dumped, already dead in a small park in Marietta.   Her death is a criminal investigation in Cobb County and we still do not have any answers and no one has been arrested.

August had been sick with addiction for many years, but wanted so badly to live and get well.  She fought and fought, but it appears that she lost her battle.  But, we really do not know, only thing we know for sure is she is gone.   During those years, my mom spend all her savings and any money she ever had, doing everything to get August help.  August died with no life insurance, as it is impossible to get them insured.

August gave constantly to everyone she met.  She donated all of her extra belonging to a girl she knew who had nothing and was going into a sober living house.  She would give her last dollar to any homeless person she saw with the knowledge that she might not eat that day.  August loved and cared about everyone, she had a heart of gold and even a tattoo that said "NOTHING GOLD CAN STAY", this was so true in her case.

My sister had a God-given ability to connect and reach special needs kids and adults in a way that was beyond exceptional.  She wanted to become an ABA therapist and work with autistic kids and adults, but her addiction stole all this from her.

My mom and I both have missed hundreds of hours of work since she passed away, but we just want to raise enough to be able to start a non-profit in August's name to help addicts get and stay clean!

This is what our August would want us to do... give to those who want to beat this horrific disease like she wanted to so badly.

Thank you in advance for your prayers, support and kindness!  We miss August every single minute of every day!  She was AMAZING!
