In Memory of our Beloved Marie Belle

Dear Family and Friends,

On June 14, 2022 my dear friend Marie Belle Hernando Lorenzana passed away after a grueling journey from ovarian cancer that began back in March 2020.

She is survived by her husband Kelvin Lorenzana and only daughter Maxine Lorenzana.

Anyone who knows Marie Belle can attest to what a loving and selfless person she was., devoted wife , mom and an amazing friend. From babysitting kids of all ages, working for over 15 years as a QMAP caregiver at a memory care center, and serving as a Host Home Provider for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, (just to name a few) Marie Belle had a passion for taking care of and serving others. She continued to work as she underwent surgeries, radiation, and numerous rounds of chemo up until the beginning of this year when the disease no longer allowed her to.

On behalf of Marie Belle’s immediate family, I created this GoFundMe to offer some financial assistance to try and offset some of the funeral costs and medical expenses that were incurred over the last few years. We would love to be able to honor Marie Belle with a memorial that she deserves while minimizing the financial strain on her family. Additionally, any excess funds will go toward mitigating her medical bills which exceed $15k (having met three out of pocket maximums).

We greatly appreciate even the consideration of this GoFundMe and humbly accept any donation amount as it will truly help. We also understand if, in lieu of this fundraiser, you would feel more comfortable in honoring Marie Belle in a different way, she would be touched by a donation in her memory to a charity that speaks to you personally.
