In response to many friends and family offering to help, we decided to create this page to gratefully welcome your support. We know these are tough times for everyone; we will forever be so so thankful to you and your families.
On April 29, 2020 we lost our deeply loved father, Oscar Quispe, to COVID-19. He spent his last two weeks fighting for his life in the ICU at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He was a loving father, husband, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend who will be missed by so many.
He was about to celebrate 25 years of marriage with Miriam Quispe, and had two daughters, Andrea (20) and Melissa (23) who are still working towards their degrees. We are extremely saddened to see him leave our side suddenly and so early at only 58 years old. We will always remember him as a strong man that worked very hard everyday to build a life in this country, where he wanted to provide his family with the best opportunities.
As the breadwinner, he was always the backbone of our family and protected us at all costs. This unforeseen exposure has kept our mother from working throughout quarantine as well. Your generous support will be utilized to cover medical bills, financial support for our mother, and to one day provide him with a proper burial with friends and family when regulations are lifted.
Once again, thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers. My father would be so grateful to each and every one of you. We will always remember your support through these difficult times.

El 29 de Abril de 2020 perdimos a nuestro querido padre, Oscar Quispe, a COVID-19. Pasó sus últimas dos semanas luchando por su vida en la UCI del Hospital de Robert Wood Johnson.
Estaba a punto de celebrar 25 años de matrimonio con Miriam Quispe, y tuvo dos hijas, Andrea (20) y Melissa (23) que todavía están estudiando para obtener sus títulos universitarios. Estamos muy tristes por perderlo de una manera repentina y tan temprana con solo 58 años de edad. Siempre lo recordaremos como un hombre fuerte que trabajó muy duro todos los días para construir una vida en este país, donde quería brindar a su familia las mejores oportunidades.
Como sostén económico, siempre fue el soporte principal de nuestra familia y nos protegía a toda costa. Además, esta exposición imprevista ha impedido que nuestra madre trabaje durante su cuarentena. Su generoso apoyo se utilizará para cubrir facturas médicas, apoyo financiero para nuestra madre y, algún día, proporcionarle un entierro adecuado con amigos y familiares cuando se levanten las regulaciones.
Una vez más, muchas gracias por todos sus pensamientos y oraciones. Mi padre estaría muy agradecido con todos y cada uno de ustedes. Siempre recordaremos su apoyo durante estos tiempos difíciles.
