In Memory of Oyeyemi Okewole

Its sad to hear the death of a brave and strong lady like Oyeyemi.

Oyeyemi was born in 1981, her primary to tertiary education (first degree) was in Nigeria. Yemi traveled to London in 2012, where she lived until she was diagnosed with fibroid last July and went for a fibroid operation. Two months later, she fell sick and went to the same hospital; doctors carried out a series of tests on her and confirmed infection on the fibroid operated parts. The case got complicated. Oyeyemi fought this for months on the hospital bed and finally gave up on Jan 1, 2022.

Oyeyemi's death came as a massive shock to friends and family as we are not financially prepared for it. GoFundMe was created to seek assistance towards her funeral in the UK. God bless you all.
