Hello Friends, Family, and all who stop by this page,
I am writing this story for Charlene Hanks Buchanan. As I think we will be sharing this with the public but also telling her story to her many friends in Potlatch, Idaho.
Char graduated from Potlatch High School (Go Loggers!) in 1978. She was on the Drill Team and probably the best dancer in high school. I remember Char as being the most kind, loving, and loyal friend you could have. She is a Christian and her faith is still strong.
Char now lives in Arkansas, along way from her family who live in California. On Tuesday, July 14, 2020 Char's oldest son Patrick was killed in a motorcycle accident. A mother's worst nightmare.
Char can not travel to California. Her heart aches to see and hug her one and only remaining son Christopher and two of her grandchildren. She would like to hold a Memorial for Patrick in Arkansas.
She needs our help to get her son and grandchildren back east. I know that this is a tough time for many due to Covid-19. If you would please consider donating a bit maybe we can get her family to her in this time of sorrow.
Give your children an extra hug and hold them tight.
