I hate that this ask for help is needed. It is with a broken heart and spirit that I write that my closest friend (by many known as Money since childhood) of over 20 years, since we were 11 years old was killed Thursday night by Pittsburg Police. He did not deserve to be murdered.
It is utterly devastating to see and know people are passing judgment as social media and news share information. False claims are being made and on behalf of his family we ask that out of respect no one takes part in making allegations or hurtful comments because all the facts are not completely known to us.
What we do know is that Patrick was loved by many, and the loss of him suddenly being taken from us in this way is the most traumatic and heart wrenching feeling in the world.
Patrick was only 31 years old, a father of 3 beautiful children (ages 5, 9 and 11) who will never feel his warm embrace again. As children, we both grew up grappling with the void of losing our fathers at a young age. For this to happen, is the most hurtful for his children, they need their dad, and he was taken from them.
Please help all of us who knew and loved him, to memorialize him for a Home-going ceremony and services, so that he can be put to rest after this tragedy. ALL funds given will be directly used in his service and for his children. Thank you to those that are able, and to those that are not. All the prayers and words of love and support and received and appreciated very much.
