In Memory of Paul Connor
Donation protected
Both Andy Howe (Parchow Groundworks Ltd) and Barry Curnow (Portsmouth Carpentry Ltd) are undertaking the Great South Run in memory of Paul Connor.
Paul died in early September 2022, leaving behind three beautiful daughters. We will be running to raise money for his daughters, Tahiti, Tatum and Indi Rose. Paul had intended to do the run himself, having marked it in his diary earlier this year…but unfortunately, he won’t get the chance to do it now.
Paul was a much-respected Quantity Surveyor at Parchow Groundworks, but more than that, he was a friend to many of us and a part of the Parchow ‘family’. He was fun-loving, warm and hugely popular. Paul had a story for every scenario; he had certainly lived life to its fullest and impressed all of us with such a wise head on young shoulders. Paul loved Rugby and played professionally in Italy in his younger days. So it was with great sadness that we learned of Paul’s tragic and unexpected passing in the early hours of Sunday, 11th September. His eldest daughter is currently studying at University in London, and his smallest daughter is just ten years old. His loving Mum and Dad, Brother & Sister, are entirely heartbroken, so we want to do something to honour his memory and provide some much-needed funds for the children.
Please dig deep, and please do share any stories you have of Paul; it would be lovely to share these with the family.
Thanks so much
