In memory of Paul Epner
Thank you for visiting Paul Epner's GoFundMe page benefiting Camp Happy Days. Paul fought leukemia valiantly with the spirit and fortitude that marked his life. We will miss him greatly.
He was an avid musician that loved bringing joy through his accordian and keyboards. Starting at age 12, he likely played for more than half a million people during the course of his life, whether at weddings, block parties, church services or just family gatherings. He loved to pull out his accordian at the bare mention of it and could often be found playing piano with headphones at home.
He lived a rich life, laughing heartily at silly movies (he loved physical humor!) while drinking microbrews, wine or a sip of tequila. He could fix anything, though his fixes probably wouldn't pass code in many cases ;)
Most of all, he loved and was proud of his family. He relished taking care of his wife, Mary, in retirement, returning the favor for years of her support while working. He relished his kids, grandkids, kids-in-law, and never turned down a wrestle with the family pets.
He was the best of men - willing to do anything to help anyone. Humble to a fault and gentle in spirit, he lived as good a life as one could. May the music go on forever.
Camp Happy Days’ mission is to offer support and encouragement to children diagnosed with cancer and their families by providing cost free year-round programs, special events and access to crisis resources.
