In memory of Philip Sassi

Philip Sassi  left this world suddenly and unexpectedly on February 15th, 2021 at the young age of 54. Commonly known by his friends and family as Phil, he leaves behind a devoted wife and two loving children.

Phil was the most genuine, compassionate, generous and empathetic person to all of his friends and family. He was a kind soul who would always offer his assistance to those in need. Phil was respected and admired by all who came in contact with him.  He was easy to talk to and was eager to assist anyone in  any way possible.

Both being a retired corrections officer and a manager of security at North Shore University Hospital attested to his dependability and accountability. His coworkers know of and will remember his gentle heart and giving personality. 

This was a devastating loss to anyone who knew Phil. He will be deeply missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, children, family and friends. Any donations made will directly go to his family, to assist in their troubles during this difficult time. There are no words to bring back Phil but our hope is to help with some of the costs as his family grieves.

Gone but never forgotten. May you rest in peace, Phil.
