In Memory of PJ Carrazzone: Funeral Support Needed
Donation protected
Dear reader, my name is Karen Mio and this fundraiser was created by PJ's family in hopes of raising money for PJ's funeral expenses. PJ has battled with a disease for quite some time and was hospitalized recently. He spent his last few weeks surrounded by loved ones and prayers. This past week has been a challenge for his entire family and friends as we prepared for a great loss. We are saddened to say we lost our dear PJ on November 1, 2024. His family is in the midst of preparing a proper funeral to lay him to rest and with that comes a financial hardship. We ask that you take some time to read about our PJ and help in any way that you can. PJ's family are lifelong members of SS Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church, so we ask that you pray for PJ and his entire family as we mourn our loss. We thank you in advance for supporting us.
I had the wonderful opportunity to fall in love with Peter John Carrazzone (known as PJ by family and friends). PJ is a beloved son, big brother, father, and more.
A little background story about him, PJ was the firstborn out of four amazing children, the free-hearted blonde-haired, blue-eyed baby to beloved Donna Popowich Carrazzone and Peter Carrazzone. PJ grew up in a tight-knit family, the big brother who took on the role of the adventurous free spirit. PJ was a music enthusiast and a well-educated young man who dreamt of becoming a psychologist. But what he was most proud of, he was a United States Marine. He was the bright light in a room, full of charisma and compassion.
I remember the first day we met, I was captured by his bright blue eyes and tough exterior, only to find out that underneath his Marine persona, he was a young man who loved wholeheartedly and was a protector. A father to our 14-year-old son Adrian J. Carrazzone (AJ) whom he loved dearly. AJ meant the world to him; he was the light of his eyes.
PJ's biggest desire was to make his family proud. During this hard time, I had the opportunity to cry, laugh, and take in all of the love PJ's mother Donna and siblings Zac, Paul, and Alexandria hold on to. His family will cherish every precious memory but most importantly we are all so proud and blessed to have loved and been loved by someone so beautiful like Peter John Carrazzone.
