In Memory of Rebecca McArthur

Rebecca and I met during our days at Holy Cross High School. We were kindred spirits and shared a lot in common from our family life to our love of cruising, laughing and having fun.

She had COPD but never let it stand in the way of living life to the fullest. Her laugh was contagious and you were guaranteed to hurt from laughing after a visit with her. Rebecca was a beacon of light and all were touched by her positivity, generosity and zest for life.

She and her husband, Scott, settled in North Carolina in 2003. She was the owner of Rebecca’s Room, an online, retail and resale store. Recently, she created a fundraiser to help the Hampstead Women’s Club Inc., a not-for-profit that provides financial assistance to schools and organizations in the community. She was a role model to her pride and joy, 14 year old daughter, Addison.

On the morning of December 1, 2022, Rebecca had an asthma attack and sadly passed away. Her death was sudden and devastating to her family and friends, especially to her husband, Scott and daughter, Addison.

To help Scott with Addison’s future, I am setting up a fund for her education. Any contribution you make is greatly appreciated and will help Scott and Addison.

God bless!
