In Memory of Reid Senio
Donation protected
On Sunday December 17th, 2023, Reid Senio was involved in a head-on collision in Leduc County that tragically took his life. In the rear seat was his 6-month old son Bowen Senio who has thankfully survived the accident with only two broken femurs and a broken collarbone. The family wishes to extend the highest amount of gratitude to the brave soul driving by who stopped and was able to pull Bowen out of the wreckage and the flames.
Reid's partner Rachel Oakes is devastated. Bowen is now out of the Stollery hospital and recovering, and now the planning for the funeral and the future without Reid is underway.
In losing Reid, Rachel has lost her partner, the family has lost a father, a son, a brother, the community has lost a friend, and industry has lost a member of the UA Local 488 Pipefitters. Rachel was planning to announce on Christmas that her and Reid were expecting baby #2.
Any help that anyone can provide is appreciated. Funds will go to Rachel for funeral preparations, and supporting this family going forward as they grieve and plan for their future.
The service for Reid will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton AB (https://www.connelly-mckinley.com/obituaries/Reid-Curtis-Senio?obId=30230489).
