In Memory of Reynaldo "Rey" Villa Miguel
Donation protected
Reynaldo Villa Miguel also fondly known as Rey transitioned from the physical life on Tuesday October 27th, 2020. This devastating lost comes at a time where the world has changed so much in such a short period of time including losing his beloved wife Jean Acnam Miguel on April 9, 2019 only less than 2 years ago . It is unimaginable to surmise the impact of losing both parents so swiftly and unexpectedly. The social and economic impact our family has had to endure comes at a time of great uncertainty in a time where families need each other more than ever.
Although, our father Rey has held a disposition of humble character and not keen on publicizing his service to the community, in particular, his contributions to the Kiwanas Club, Saranay, and the United Filipino Organization (UFO) of Orosi, USA, in which he became the founding President; we would be remiss to ignore his will to serve his community in various capacities. Despite his humble reluctance to share his many contributions that benefited the communities of Tulare county, especially, the Filipino community of Orosi, CA; it is with great honor and pride to have shared our father with family and friends over the years as he provided for us in raising our family. The self sacrifices he endured that included strenuous traveling back and forth from the Bay area to Orosi for work in order to provide our growing family was truly exceptional.
It is with great sorrow but with great gratitude we offer this opportunity to continue our father's legacy by continuing to share his story. Often the best way to honor a person's legacy is to continue their work. Please help us honor our father through sharing stories of him, continuing his community work, as we ask for your support in this time of grief.
Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented time of this health pandemic, Visitation & Funeral Mass services will be held privately for immediate family only due to COVID restrictions.
On Wednesday, Nov 4th, 2020, the immediate family of Reynaldo "Rey" Villa Miguel will celebrate his life at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery and Funeral Center in Hayward, CA. In the near future, when traveling abroad is safer, Rey's remains will be brought to the Philippines to be reunited with his beloved wife, Jean.

From the children of Reynaldo,
Ryan Miguel
Regina Miguel del Mundo
Jeremiah Miguel (J.R.)
Reynaldo Miguel Jr. (R.J.)
