In Memory Of Rich Riccitelli

The Riccitelli family, long time residents of Verona, would whole-heartedly appreciate donations being made to the Verona 5th Downers Association in memory of the late Richard Riccitelli.

The Riccitelli family have been long time supporters of Verona football where Matt Riccitelli, Rich’s grandson, began as an Eagle in second grade. Matt went on to play for the Hillbillies, including their 2014 state championship-undefeated season. Later playing for the Ithaca College Bombers, Matt is returning as a Hillbillies coach for this upcoming season.

Similarly, Rich held the sport very close to his heart, as he was a youth football coach in Irvington earlier in life.

Rich would be happy to know that his memory will live on supporting the game he loved and his grandson, Matt.

The 5th Downers will utilize all donations to support the VHS Hillbillies football team in honor of Rich Riccitelli. Season home game announcements will highlight and acknowledge the generous donations and how the funds were utilized to support the team.
