Ricky Pineda was senselessly assaulted last Saturday night at a restaurant while Shirley was babysitting my children. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on Thursday. Many of you have asked me for a link to a GoFundMe page and other ways to help. I've created this account against Shirley's wishes, but knowing she has a long road of recovery ahead for her and Ricky's family.

Ricky was in the hospital for several days, left a seven-year-old daughter behind amongst other children, and of course he left behind our beloved Shirley, a nanny to our twins.

No donation is too small to help Shirley with the funeral costs, hospital bill, and the ongoing needs of their 7-year-old daughter that lost her daddy.
