In Memory of Riley Cones

Our Community has suffered an immense loss. On Easter Sunday, Riley Cones, a 16 year old, 11th grader at WPHS, lost her life in a tragic accident outside of her home. Her kindness, and quiet innocence made her a beautiful person to know. If you had the chance to spend time with her or her family you have been blessed. Riley has grown up in Teller County and had ties to Merit Academy, WPHS, Gateway Elementary as well as Lake George Charter School where she touched so many lives. Many of you know the Cones Family and know that they devote much of their time helping others, although they would never ask for help in return, I believe this is the time we need to rally around them and show all our love and support. Riley is survived by 2 very sweet younger siblings and her parents Josh and Ashley. Riley was a daughter, grand-daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will never be forgotten. Please pray for the Cones family, and hug your children tight.
